About Us
How it all started
We visited Oyhut Bay Seaside Village from Kingston, Washington, one weekend in the summer in 2017. The very next weekend we visited again and bought what has become Sea Stars and Stripes Beach Cottage. When we were asked what helped us make our decision so easy, our answer came easily as well, “We liked the way Oyhut felt." From the friendly, helpful staff to the design coordinator that helped us put the amenity and decor package together, it all felt natural and easy.
Each weekend along the process we visited Oyhut Bay. We experienced first hand what it would feel like to live the Oyhut Bay lifestyle. From mornings with coffee on the porch or by the fire in the Village Square to afternoon strolls along the beach, ending with a gourmet dinner in the Oyhut Bay Grill and Loft. We enjoy the walkable Village, natural surroundings, and friendly onsite staff.
And still today, 5 years later, we love being a part of this community even more than ever! We have enjoyed sharing our cottage with countless visitors and continue to visit ourselves several times each year!

Location
Sea Stars and Stripes Beach Cottage is located within Oyhut Bay Seaside Village on the South end of Ocean Shores, Washington, adjacent to Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area and Damon Point. Ocean Shores is a small coastal city known for its long Pacific Beaches and network of navigable lakes and waterways.
